Terms & Conditions
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Site.
Who We Are and How We Operate (Non-Ecommerce)
KMJ is a high-end, appointment-only jewellery house. The Site showcases our work and facilitates enquiries and appointments; we do not sell online. All consultations, reservations, commissions, purchases, restorations, valuations, or after-sales services are handled privately and are documented through formal quotations, invoices, and agreements issued by our registered entities.
Eligibility and Permitted Use
The Site is intended for users aged 18 and over. You may access it for lawful purposes only and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You agree not to interfere with the Site’s security, introduce malware, scrape content, or attempt any unauthorised access.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Site—including text, images, videos, logos, page design, graphics, and software—is owned by or licensed to KMJ and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, frame, mirror, or create derivative works without our prior written consent. You may link to public pages of the Site in a fair and non-misleading manner that does not harm our reputation.
Natural-Only Stones and Disclosures
KMJ deals exclusively in natural diamonds and precious gemstones; we do not sell lab-grown, synthetic, simulant, or glass-filled substitutes. Where applicable, treatments and enhancements are disclosed to the best of our knowledge, supported by leading laboratories and our internal expertise. Any laboratory references (for example GIA, Gübelin, SSEF) are indicated in good faith; corresponding certificates, if referenced, are available for inspection during appointments.
Creative Content, Photography, and Specifications
We strive for accuracy, but colours and appearance can vary with lighting and screens. Carat weights, measurements, and technical specifications are provided within typical tolerances. During bespoke work, designs may be refined for structural integrity, comfort, hallmarking, or aesthetic balance; such refinements will be documented in writing and agreed with you before proceeding.
Enquiries, Appointments, and KYC/AML
Submitting an enquiry or booking an appointment does not oblige either party to proceed with a transaction. For security, KYC/AML, export-compliance, insurance, and anti-fraud reasons we may request identification and other information. We may accept, reschedule, or decline appointments at our discretion.
Pricing, Availability, and No Online Offers
Information on the Site is not an offer to sell. Pricing and availability are provided individually and may change due to market conditions, foreign exchange, sourcing realities, and design refinements. A sale is concluded only when a formal invoice or purchase agreement is executed and any required deposit is received.
Deposits, Timelines, and Bespoke/Heritage Work
Commissions, kundan–meenakari work, restorations, and revivals proceed against written briefs, sketches, and where relevant 3D visuals. Deposits generally become non-refundable once stone sourcing or production begins because materials are reserved and craftsmen are allocated. Timelines are good-faith estimates and may shift due to sourcing, assay/hallmarking, international logistics, or workshop scheduling. We will communicate material changes promptly.
Historical Pieces
Historical items are carefully authenticated and, where appropriate, sympathetically restored. Signs of age commensurate with the piece’s period are expected and will be described in condition notes. Dates, attributions, and provenance are professional opinions unless accompanied by external documentation.
Shipping, Collection, Insurance, and Risk
Collection or shipment terms are agreed case-by-case. Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery to you or your nominated carrier. We recommend adequate insurance for shipping and ongoing ownership. Export, customs, duties, and taxes are your responsibility unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
Valuations and Investment Disclaimer
Content on the Site is for general information and inspiration only and does not constitute investment advice, financial advice, or a professional valuation. Gemstone and jewellery values can fluctuate with market conditions. Independent third-party appraisals can be arranged at your request and cost.
Testimonials, Submissions, and Usage Rights
If you submit testimonials, images, or feedback, you grant KMJ a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and reproduce that content across our channels, with your name abbreviated or anonymised on request. You represent that you own or control the rights to any content you provide and that it does not infringe third-party rights.
Privacy and Cookies
Your use of the Site is governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice, which explain how we collect, use, store, and share personal data and how cookies are used. By using the Site, you consent to our handling of personal data and cookies as described there.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, policies, or practices; access is at your own risk.
Export Controls, Sanctions, and Compliance
Transactions may be subject to export controls, sanctions, customs regulations, hallmarking and assay requirements, taxes, and duties. We may decline or terminate any transaction that could breach applicable laws or sanctions.

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KMJ and its principals are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data arising from or related to your use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KMJ, its principals, and team from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Site.

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, governmental actions, supply disruptions, transportation or utility failures, and acts of third parties.
Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and KMJ regarding Site use and supersede any prior or contemporaneous understandings relating to the same subject matter.
